This page lists some of the horses owned by Debi Crowley and is quite incomplete at the moment. The horses listed on this page are not generally for sale, but will likely be for sale in the future. Most youngsters raised at Cotton Meadows Farm are not offered for sale until they are confidently working under saddle. A few of them are kept until they have experience in the show ring. Please check our Sales page to see what is currently available.

He has also competed at recognized dressage shows with scores at First Level in the 70's and at Second Level in the mid 60's. Vandiver (aka "Quinn")

Quinn is a 2004, 17h, Trakehner gelding by Windfall, bronze medal winner on the US eventing team at the 2004 Olympics (www.newspringfarm.com). Quinn was bred, raised, and trained at CMF. Combined with the eventing bloodlines in his dam's (Visions of Grandeur, ATA) pedigree, we had high hopes that this boy would be a future eventing champion and, so far, he has been living up to our expectations. He has proven to be an extremely quiet and eager learner and has been successful at recognized dressage shows with scores in the 70's as a 4 yr old and was in the ribbons each time out in 2009 at Novice and Training level eventing. He competed at his first Preliminary Horse Trials in June 2010 with an 8th place finish on his dressage score and will be continue to be shown at this level throughout the remainder of 2010. Quinn is an exceptional blend of talent and sensibility.

Quinn is currently FOR SALE. See the Sales page for additional info.

The Farm Mascot!

Napoleon

Napoleon is a miniature mule that was born on 3/30/06. He was born premature and spent his first week at the University of Tennessee vet school. When he returned home, his mother didn't accept him so he nursed from a goat and was pan fed. He came to Cotton Meadows Farm when he was a month old and is a source of constant entertainment. As you can see from the photos, Napoleon and Dax, our German Shepherd, are great friends.

Youngsters and Broodmares

Anette ("Camille")

Camille is a 2005 NA-KWPN mare by Sir Sinclair out of a keur mare by Contango. We purchased this mare as a yearling as an upper level dressage prospect and future broodmare. At her 3 yr old NA-KWPN studbook inspection in September of 2008, Camille scored in the top 5 in the nation and received her STAR predicate. Camille is a big, strong girl standing 17.0h at the inspection. She has the looks, movement and temperament indicative of her breeding. She was working solidly under saddle before she took a break in the spring of 2010 to have her first foal, a big striking colt by Idocus (KWPN). Camille will go back in dressage training after weaning her colt and should begin her competition career in early 2011.

Jackson

Jackson is a 16.2h, bay 2005 gelding by A Fine Romance a thoroughbred sire of several upper level event horses, successful jumpers and many hunters. In his showing days, A Fine Romance was a big winner in the hunter and conformation rings and is now known for producing athletic horses with good minds. Jackson appears to be continuing the trend with a laid back attitude, natural jumping talent, and nice balanced movement. Jackson is out of Tia, a CMF broodmare, and he was bred, raised, and trained at CMF. Jackson will be competing at Novice level eventing in the fall of 2010.

Jackson is currently FOR SALE. See the Sales page for additional info.

Visions of Grandeur ("Tia")

Tia is a 2000 chestnut Thoroughbred/Trakehner mare by Mystic Replica, a Thoroughbred son of the legendary Babamist. She has been inspected and approved for breeding by the American Trakehner Association (ATA) so her foals by approved Trakehner stallions will be eligible for registration with the ATA. Tia was bred, raised, and trained under saddle at CMF.

Tia has produced two colts (Vandiver and Nigel) by Windfall, bronze medal winner on the US eventing team at the 2004 Olympics, and a colt (Jackson) and filly (Violet) by A Fine Romance, a TB producer of winning hunters and eventers.

All of Tia's foals have been very people oriented and easy to break and train. Vandiver is successfully competing at the Preliminary level with potential for the top levels of the sport. Jackson is a talented prospect that will be competing at Novice in the fall of 2010. Nigel has been lightly started as a 3 yr old due to his extreme size (17.2 at 3 yrs) and has been incredibly easy to break. Violet sustained an injury as a youngster that has left her unsound to ride, but we expect her to make an excellent broodmare.

Tia is again in foal to Windfall for an April 2011 foal.

Violet

Violet is a 16.2h, 2006 filly out of Tia and by A Fine Romance, a thoroughbred sire of several upper level event horses and many hunters. This filly is the whole package - stunning good looks, excellent conformation, and a sweet, sensible disposition. Unfortunately, Violet sustained an injury as a youngster that rendered her unsound to ride, but we expect her to be an excellent broodmare. She is currently being leased by Donna Miller of Hidden Creek Horses and has been bred to Donna's Connemara stallion, *ArdCeltic Art, for a June 2011 foal.

2010 Foals

Camille's 2010 Colt

This big beautiful colt, as yet unnamed, is out of Camille, our Star NA-KWPN mare by Sir Sinclair. His sire is Idocus (KWPN) who represented Holland in the 2004 Olympic Games and represented the USA at the World Cup in Las Vegas and the World Equestrian Gamies in Aachen. Needless to say, we have high hopes for this handsome fellow as a serious upper level dressage competitor.

2009 Foals

Caritas ("Cari")

Not only is this filly a looker, but she has the sweetest, friendliest disposition imaginable. Her sire is Stiletto, a gray Trakehner stallion, that stands at Valhalla Farm. This multi-talented stallion has competed successfully in Level 5 & 6 jumpers, Prix St. George dressage, and at the Intermediate level of eventing. Her dam, Carmelita Kitten (see photos on the Sales page under Horses Sold By CMF), is a fancy 16.3h TB that has been inspected and approved by the American Trakehner Association with very good scores. With this breeding, this filly should be an outstanding prospect for eventing. She will be fully registered with the ATA.

Carmen is a 2008 filly by Windfall, bronze medal winner on the US eventing team at the 2004 Olympics, and out of our TB broodmare, Carmelita Kitten. Carmen is Lita's first foal and we are quite pleased with the result. She is beautiful to look at and has a laid back, friendly personality. This foal should make an event horse extraordinaire!
