HORSES FOR SALE ($30K+ to $50K)

Master Manipulator (aka "Mikey")

Mikey is a 2001, 16h, Thoroughbred gelding that has competed through Preliminary Level eventing with 2nd, 3rd, and 8th place ribbons in his first three horse trials at this level. He has also competed at recognized dressage shows with scores at first level in the 70's and at second level in the 60's. He is very steady and reliable in his work and we expect him to move up to Intermediate in the fall of 2010.

Mikey has all the components required for a competitive upper level eventer. He is consistently in the ribbons after dressage, is a talented jumper that rarely hits a rail, and is very brave and quick on cross country. Mikey is not a difficult horse to ride, but he would be best suited for a rider that appreciates a sensitive horse and wants to move up the levels. Mikey's complete eventing competition records can be reviewed on the US Eventing Association (USEA) website under the show name Master Manipulator.

Mikey is priced at $30K Firm.

Vandiver (aka "Quinn")

Quinn is a 2004, 17h, Trakehner gelding by Windfall, bronze medal winner on the US eventing team at the 2004 Olympics (www.newspringfarm.com). Quinn was bred, raised, and started at CMF. Combined with the eventing bloodlines in his dam's (Visions of Grandeur, ATA) pedigree, we had high hopes that this boy would be a future eventing champion and, so far, he has been living up to our expectations. He has proven to be an extremely quiet and eager learner and has been successful at recognized dressage shows with scores in the 70's as a 4 yr old and was in the ribbons each time out in 2009 at Novice and Training level eventing. He competed at his first Preliminary Horse Trials in June 2010 with an 8th place finish on his dressage score and will be continue to be shown at this level throughout the remainder of 2010.

Quinn has the talent to be competitive at the highest levels of eventing. He has lovely, fluid movement, a big scopey jump, and a relaxed, big stride that makes it easy to make time on XC. He has an incredibly willing temperament making him an excellent choice for most any rider. Quinn's complete eventing competition records can be reviewed on the US Eventing Association (USEA) website under the show name Vandiver.

Quinn is priced at $35K Firm.

City Slicker (aka "Slick")

Slick is a 10 yr old, 16.3h chestnut gelding that is a talented dressage competitor. He is confirmed at 2nd level with scores at recognized dressage shows in the high 60's. He is currently schooling 3rd level and goes well in a double bridle. He has talent for both collection and extension making him a good candidate for Grand Prix with a serious, motivated rider. He has three very good gaits, but is also extremely easy to sit. Slick loves to travel and clips, ties, etc. He is very personable and craves human interaction. He comes when called in pasture, often times running! Military move overseas forces sale of this lovely horse.

Slick is priced at $22K negotiable. Please contact Slick's owner, Ashley Hayes (256-476-1824), for more information.

Jackson

Jackson is a 16.2h, bay 2005 gelding by A Fine Romance, a thoroughbred sire of several upper level event horses, successful jumpers and many hunters. In his showing days, A Fine Romance was a big winner in the hunter and conformation rings and is now known for producing athletic horses with good minds. Jackson appears to be continuing the trend with a laid back attitude, natural jumping talent, and nice balanced movement. Jackson is out of Tia, a CMF broodmare, and he was bred, raised, and trained at CMF. Jackson will be competing at Novice level eventing in the fall of 2010.

Jackson has a very quiet nature and would be suitable for most amateurs and professionals alike. He is relaxed and quiet at shows and on the trails.

Jackson is priced at $15K.

Remy Meir and Carmelita Kitten

Remy acquired Carmelita Kitten (Lita) in the fall of 2009 very shortly after Lita's 09 filly, Cari, was weaned. Lita had been a broodmare for several years and had not been ridden at all during that time. Remy and Lita hit it off and were showing successfully on the flat and over fences less than two months later. Congrats to Remy on her good job with Lita and also to Becky Fitzgerald for her help with this talented team!
